The Imagine Austin priority program, Revise Regulations, focused its efforts solely on the revision of the City’s existing Land Development Code (LDC). Based on a court ruling on March 17, 2022, the City halted its work assessing options to move the Land Development Code Revision (LDC) work forward. Revising the City's Land Development Regulations is one tool in the toolbox to address our city’s current and future challenges. The Imagine Austin Implementation team will continue to monitor any incremental progress toward land development code changes supporting the goals of Imagine Austin.
